A short documentary by Margaux Fournier, shot on the Bain des Dames beach in Marseille. Winner of the 2026 César for Best Short Documentary.

Every day, Joëlle meets her retired friends on a small Marseille beach. As in an open-air theatre, they laugh, talk about love, about ageing bodies, and put the world to rights with the freedom of those who have nothing left to prove.
La bossa des dames: a bossa nova for piano and guitar, like the beach itself — light, a little sunlit, never sentimental.
